Sarah Franklin is a Professor at BIOS, London School of Economics. She has written extensively on reproductive and genetic technologies and conducted fieldwork on IVF, cloning, embryo research, and stem cells, including the bookDolly mixtures. The remaking of genealogy (Duke, 2007). Her work combines traditional anthropological approaches, including both ethnographic methods and kinship theory, with more recent approaches from science studies, gender theory, and cultural studies.
